President Coriolanus Snow is the president of Panem. When Katniss and Peeta are both crowned victors Snow does everything he can so that there isn't a rebellion. President Snow is a very corrupt man and wants all the power to himself. In Mockingjay he kidnaps Peeta just so he can make Katniss go to the capitol and rescue him because he wants to kill Katniss since she is the face of the rebellion. He also kidnapps the people that the other alive tributes love just so he can torture them and lure them into the Capitol because he is afraid that they might keep the rebellion alive. |
